Partner with The Autism Centre to provide free online support groups
At The Autism Centre, we believe that access to information, understanding and support should not depend on someone's ability to pay or where they live.
We are developing a programme of online support groups for autistic children, young people and adults, alongside parents, carers and families. Our ambition is to make these sessions free for participants, removing financial barriers and helping people access valuable information, practical guidance and opportunities to connect with others.
Because our groups will be delivered online, people will be able to participate regardless of their geographical location, without the need to travel to a particular venue.
To make this possible, we are seeking businesses and organisations who share our commitment to making a positive difference.
By sponsoring our online support groups, your organisation can help make meaningful autism support available without cost being a barrier.
What your sponsorship makes possible
Helping people access support without financial or geographical barriers
Sponsorship will help us develop and deliver accessible online support sessions covering subjects relevant to autistic people and those supporting them.
Our aim is to create welcoming, supportive environments where participants can share experiences, develop their understanding and access practical information.
Your contribution could help fund:
- Individual online support group sessions.
- Programmes of themed sessions delivered over several weeks or months.
- Experienced facilitators and specialist contributors.
- Accessible information and resources for participants.
- The technology, coordination and administration needed to deliver the groups.
By supporting online delivery, sponsors can help us reach people across different communities, including those who may find travelling to face-to-face groups difficult.
Recognition for our sponsors
Making your contribution visible
We recognise that sponsorship is a partnership. Alongside the positive impact of helping people access free support, we want participating organisations to receive meaningful recognition for their contribution.
Depending on the sponsorship arrangement, recognition opportunities may include:
- Promotional materials: Your organisation's name and logo included on promotional materials for sponsored sessions.
- Social media: Sponsor acknowledgements across The Autism Centre's social media channels when promoting relevant events.
- Website recognition: Acknowledgement of your organisation's support on our website.
- During online sessions: Appropriate recognition at the beginning and end of sponsored events, including verbal acknowledgements and sponsor branding.
- Event presentations: Your logo displayed on relevant introductory or closing slides.
- Programme updates: Recognition in updates highlighting the activities made possible through sponsorship.
All sponsorship recognition will be agreed in advance and delivered in a way that respects the purpose of the groups and the experience of participants.
Sponsorship opportunities
Flexible ways to make a difference
We welcome conversations with businesses and organisations of different sizes. Whether you would like to support a single event or help establish a longer-term programme, we would be pleased to explore an arrangement that reflects your objectives and our community support aims.
Individual Session Sponsorship
Support the delivery of an individual online support group. This offers a focused opportunity to contribute to a particular session, with recognition through its promotion and during the event.
Series Sponsorship
Help fund a series of sessions, potentially focused on a particular subject or area of support. This provides an opportunity for ongoing recognition across multiple events and associated promotional activity.
Programme Partnership
Become a longer-term partner in developing and sustaining our online support programme. Programme partnerships may include broader recognition and periodic updates about the activities supported.
Sponsorship arrangements and contributions will be discussed individually, allowing us to agree a suitable approach for each participating organisation.
Our commitment to participants
Support comes first
The purpose of our online groups is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for participants. Sponsorship helps make this possible, but it will not influence the information, guidance or professional judgement of those facilitating the sessions.
We will not provide sponsors with participants' personal information or use support groups as opportunities for direct sales or marketing to attendees.
Our aim is to build relationships with organisations that value genuine community benefit and recognise the importance of accessible, independent support.
